General Information
Training concept
Our training programme is tailored to the education and training obligations in the respective regulatory areas and enables licensed / registered financial intermediaries to meet the relevant requirements. The training courses are recognised by SAQ as recertification measures for the Client Advisor Bank certification and also offer bank employees an ideal opportunity for further training in the relevant areas. Our FinSA basic training and refresher courses are recognised by the Swiss adviser registers as well.
Conducting the online training courses
The training courses are conducted online and live via the Microsoft Teams application. Of course, you have the opportunity to actively participate and ask your individual questions. You will receive the relevant access information resp. the access link to the online training course immediately after registration. If you do not receive a confirmation, please check your spam resp. junk email folder or contact us.
Access to the online meeting will be open to you as soon as the training session starts. To keep the content of the webinars accessible after the event, the online sessions will be recorded.
If you are unable to attend the live training sessions on the available dates, you have the option of completing the relevant training in self-study with a supplementary test. Please note that an additional fee will be charged for self-study training. This additional fee also applies to gwp's co-/outsourcing clients. Thank you for your understanding.
Confirmation of attendance
After completion of the online training course, you will receive a confirmation of attendance from gwp. Please log in to the online training with your full first name and surname. The identification of the participants is necessary in order to be able to issue the personal confirmation of attendance after the training course.

Expansion of our training programme with web-based e-learning
We are excited to expand our training programme in cooperation with the Swiss Learning Hub to include innovative web-based e-learning formats. These new, additional training courses offer you flexible and completely autonomous further education – the training content is accessible 24/7 and allows you to complete the courses independently in self-study. You will receive a certificate upon successful completion of the e-learning.
The first e-learning module on sanctions is expected to be available from April 2025. You will be informed accordingly via our newsletter.
Regulatory Training (Focus on FinSA / FinIA update)

Key content
Our regulatory training covers various relevant training areas. This year, the training will mainly cover updates from regulatory practice (focus on FinIA and FinSA, in particular the new FinSA circular). Investment advisors may take the course as a FinSA refresher training.

The complete online training course takes two hours.

FinSA - Basic Training
Training in German
Tuesday, 1 April 2025, 9.00 a.m. - 12.00 p.m.
Key content
The training serves as a basic introduction to FinSA and provides proof of the education and training requirements demanded by the Swiss adviser registers. In addition to a comprehensive theoretical input, practical examples are used to convey the fundamentals of FinSA.
Duration
The complete online training course takes three hours.

Key content
The training provides a concise introduction to the principles of international economic sanctions, with a focus on Switzerland, the EU and the effects of foreign sanctions, particularly those of the United States. In addition, a special emphasis is placed on the current sanctions against Russia.
